Seiberling's Master Facility Plan
The Seiberling CLC is the 28th school to come on line as part of the Akron Community Learning Centers project. It features 25 classrooms for grades K-6; and spaces for special education, tutoring, art, music, a project laboratory and more. Smart Boards and wireless access is available in all classrooms. The CLC includes state-of-the-art security systems, restricted building access, a camera system and high-visibility observation areas. There is improved traffic flow for student pick-up and drop-off, bus and special needs vans, deliveries and other services. A new cafeteria and gymnasium are joined by a removable wall and stage for special events and assemblies. The LRC sports a grand bay window to allow for natural daylight. The playground includes age-appropriate equipment, basketball courts and a softball field, with fences for safety. The Seiberling CLC features environmentally friendly LEED construction.
